7 things that I miss about PgDE B

I always wanted to write something on my favorite class, but you know writers block, it is so hard to break it. Anyways, here I am finally with one of my broken English article. Hope it will make you smile as it did to me.
2014 has been one of the best years of my life. I was placed in Samtse college of Education to undergo PgDE. And there I was in PgDE ‘B’. Here are the 7 things that I miss about PgDE ‘B’.

1. It wasn’t a class

Yes! I mean it. It wasn’t just a class it was more than that. Pg B was huge collection of people from different background. Background; meaning intellectually.  There were idiots, well behaved, grownups, hyper, irri s (Irritating fellow), and others who laugh without a reason (ha ha ha). And there are some smart ass, at least who acted like one. However, in a bottom line, no matter what, when we (Pg B) are together, there is that condition created, where we feel that we mean something. Where every individual with different moods laugh out so loud, and forgets the world for some time. We were PgDE ‘B’ and I tell you what, we were the pain in ass for most of the lecturers and other students around.

2. Cooperation

Don’t get yourself wrong, reader. It is not what you think. Our class wasn’t as cooperative as you have imagined. I remember clearly how our class representative (CR) nearly cried trying to convince us to cooperate. And yeah… one of our class representative resigned before the completion of the term.
Our social work area is the interesting topic to talk about. We were assigned the area near science lap, and guess what, we left the area as we found it. To be honest nothing productive was done there during social work time. We would come there and practice our targeting skill by throwing some stones on the wall. Sometimes we click photos, we laugh (I don’t remember any joke they shared, but surely it was weird), and do nothing. After repeated request from our CR, we would at least manage to keep our area paper free. But we get tired anyhow.

3. Class debate

Debate is one exciting moment for all of us. It starts with just one question from our lecturer, and there we are debating the whole hour. Debate is debate, whether it is constructive or destructive, however we have it both. Even after the class, we would debate, and this time it is with that expression and that words (hope you get it). Well, Pg ‘B’ is the Pg ‘B’ after all.

4. Class picnic

You have no idea how hard it was to choose class picnic spot. After one period of debate, and so much of ups and downs (which I even don’t know) we could finally come to the conclusion. But when picnic happened, it was just awesome. Best class picnic of my life. The dance, the river, the swim, the water fight, elephant poop, not so good looking tent, the guitar (who’s guitar??), the food, and finally the drinks. Oh… I forgot to mention, I was DRUNK that time but not out of sense. Thank you girls for taking care of us (boys).

5. Jam Session.

For the fact that most of our class girls are single or their boyfriend not around, we boys were never without a partner. And for the fact that we (boys) are not their boyfriend, we could dance with whatever moves. I was truly me, without a bit of hesitation, there I was dancing with my wildest moves, and so did the Pg ‘B’. From Panjabi to Boedra, not so called moon walk to taking off your shirt and woohooo … (I can almost feel that feeling). Well we got it all moves.
Damn! That moment of feeling yourself is so so so good. Nobody to judge, nor you cared.

6. Football finale (sorry I couldn't locate even one photo)

I am not really a player. But who says I can’t be a cheerleader. In the history of Samtse College, the moon soon trophy was always taken by B.Ed students, but not during our time. Our class was the least expected to reach finale, however not only we played finale but we also won the trophy. And above all, more than winning, the match was so exciting to talk about.
Whole PgDE were there to cheer our team. We had the whole drum set to make some noise. Actually it was the noisiest. We even received a verbal warning from our Director, but we didn’t give a damn. Well we are the Pg ‘B’, and we are all crazy haha. If life has a pause button I would have definitely pause that moment; The moment of joy, the moment of friendship, the moment of team, and the moment of being PgDE ‘B’.

7. Jack Fruits Season

Come on now, do I have to write about it. All the people who have been is Samtse College of Education will definitely smile, if they are ask about Jack Fruits season. Yeah… I am talking about that Golden Fruits. Just know that if you haven’t lived this season, then you are seriously a dumbass. Come on dude, one of my friend nearly died when he was hit by 5 kg falling Jack Fruit. Thank god, that Jack Fruit did not fall on his head. That was the first and the last time I ever wished that Jack Fruits were smaller in size. Anyways the taste of Jack Fruit makes us forget all.
The fun part is still coming. You know what, we used to visit Sunday market and intentionally ask the cost of Jack fruits. “Its 10 per 5 pieces”, we would ask for discount but never buys it (.
I will surely write about my personal experience on Jack Fruit season next time.

2014, was one heck of a life! We all met for numbered days but I have you all forever. Lastly, I pray we never meet again all you Morons.
I miss you all!!!

Conversation with Dr. samduu

Conversation with Dr. samduu I didn’t know him before 19th March, but he is a director, a teacher, a practitioner, a palm reader, a philosopher and a GNH expert. He is Dr. Samduu chettri, Director General of GNH centre, Thimphu. DR.Samdu, Principal, V.principal He visited our school for two days (i.e. 19th and 20th march). He gave a talk on GNH and highlighted some current situation of GNH throughout the world. The talk or the workshop was attended by all the staff and class ten students of Norbuling Central School. Accompanied by his own son, Dr. Samdu graced our school with his presence on The International Happiness Day. After two days of workshop, we hosted a decent dinner to show our gratitude towards them for coming in our school and passing on some important information. I was sitting with some of my colleague while having a dinner, however my eyes were on him just to make sure if he needs anything. There I noticed something about him. He would take a spoonf...

4 Organizations in Bhutan that need immediate NAME change.

4 Organizations in Bhutan that need immediate NAME change. I have recently read a book where it was shared that Mother Teresa never address “problem” as a “problem” rather she called it a “Gift.” She even mentioned that the word we use daily influences our daily happening. It was clearer to me when I read a book “The Secret” and “The power” by Rhonda Bryne. These books proved how our daily use of words influences our daily life and how we can choose our words for better tomorrow.   It is observed that repeating same words time and again has a power over the situation. Maybe that’s the reasons why we pray. Prayer is nothing but repetition of positive word. On top of that, these could be the reason why advertisement board are larger and displayed everywhere. This may have influenced us unconsciously… who knows. Anyways here are popular organization in Bhutan, which I feel needs immediate change, and here is why;   1.               ...
